About Enfield

Around Enfield Town

Enfield Is one of Londons greenest Boroughs and has over 2000 acres of parkland and open spaces. Amongst the best are Forty Hall which has undulating parkland and a 17th century manor house and lakes. There is also Whitewebbs Park which has lovely woodland walks, a golf course and a Tobey carvery in Whitewebbs House. Myddleton House offers free entry to 8 acres of informal gardens created by the famous botanist, E.A Bowles.

Transport in Enfield Town

Enfield Town has 2 British Rail lines one of which goes from Enfield Town to Liverpool Street. The other line stops at Enfield Chase and Gordon Hill and then terminates at Moorgate. There are excellent bus services and the M25 (junctions 24 & 25) are just 3 miles away.

Enfield Town Housing Stock

Enfield Town has an extraordinary wide range of properties ranging from historic Georgian properties in Gentlemans Row to a wide range of very modern apartment blocks with large balconies and underground parking. There is also a good number of 1930’s built properties such as those off Willow Road and Victorian cottages such as those off Chase Side.
